The journal is accented with a solid pewter button, which an attached rawhide cord loops around to securely fasten the journal closed. Within the leather cover is a replaceable hard-cover blank book with 208 pages of heavy bond acid-free pages, perfect for recording sketches, notes, diaries, dreams, poetry, musings or your personal works of literature.

Once the pages are full, the journal may be refilled with a new blank book (also available separately), allowing the journal to be appreciated for a lifetime. Leather portions are completely tanned and hand-tooled in the USA. Pewter accent is individually designed and cast in the USA.
